A story for, on and by the bike

F.I.E.T.S, the first performance ever in the world especially for bikes.

F.I.E.T.S. is an ode to the bicycle. Lets the bicycle speak. Lets flowers grow out of the panniers. Elicits sounds from spokes. And is telling stories about and to the bikes. This all in a CO2 neutral setting. On a tribune of bicycle ‘stands’, developped by the energyclub of TU Delft. And the audience rides along and generates power. In an associative narrative style in picture sound, music, text and technical innovation.

We would like to welcome a big diversity of different bikes. Because the bike is a non-experienced theatre visitor –for most of the bikes it would be their first experience- it would be wise to let the bike be guided by an adult, children can join at the back.

F.I.E.T.S. (the dutch word for bicycle) is a co-production between La Pralinette de Papa Nugue, tjettergruppe and Lobke van Beuzekom. Duration roundabout 30 minutes, suitable for inside and outdoor locations. Language no problem. Can be performed in English or any other language. More information?
